Our backyard was a mud bath. We're on a hill so we have erosion, lots of trees so no sun, and multi-dogs so...well you can figure that out. I met Matt Baumann at a children's event--he was with his daughter, I had my granddaughter and he mentioned during a conversaton that he was in landscaping. His brother Rick came out to evaluate our mess and give us an estimate on how to fix it. His solutions included expanding the deck with a paver patio, a stone path from the upper section to the lower section, and using artificial turf on the lower section. He added in trees and plants and it turned out beautiful. We already had a small pond and the backyard is now a little oasis, perfect for relaxing and/or entertaining (whoa--that sounds like a corny ad for a sun shade or something!) But anyway, the brothers are reliable and honest--they always showed up and did what they said they would do when promised. Very nice small, family-owned company to deal with.
